- Advocate
for the holistic conservation and
restoration of Lake Gnangara eg: flora,
fauna, pollution control and immediate
waters.
- Support
the current Bush Forever (Bushplan)
Policy - December 2000.
- Liaise
with relevant interested parties, local
and government departments when
addressing issues such as:
- Removal
of all dumped rubbish in the
conservation, wetland and surrounding
lands.
- Veto
existing and any future submissions for
mining leases on the Lake
- Ensure
all entry and egress points within the
Lake area are adequately managed or
closed to public access eg: post/rail or
mesh fencing, gates, boulders. This
is for the protection of flora and fauna
and the reduction of fire risks.
- Controls
and removal of roaming dogs, cats and
foxes in the conservation and wetland
areas.
- Appropriate
signage in significant areas eg:
appropriate use of areas and demarking
areas as conservation.
- Protection
of flora, fauna and avifauna (birds).

Acknowledge areas of Aboriginal
significance under the Aboriginal Heritage
Act 1972
